VSO Announces Temporary Hours, Closure Dates for September

Kerr County area veterans will want to make note that temporary hours have been announced for an upcoming week at the Kerr County Veterans Service Office.

Due to the office being minimally staffed, it will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Sept. 2-4. Monday, Sept. 1, is a county holiday for Labor Day, while the office is normally closed on Fridays, including Friday, Sept. 5.

The office also anticipates being closed Sept. 10-11 due to event participation by staff members.

“We appreciate the public’s patience as we work through a holiday week with minimal staffing,” said Kerr County Veteran Services Officer Jenna Sanchez.

The office, located in the county’s 550 Earl Garrett Street facility in Kerrville, will return to normal operating hours of Mondays through Thursdays on Monday, Sept. 8

Walk-ins are accepted, but those with appointments always have priority.
