Veterans Service Office announces temporary change in service
During an abbreviated week, the Kerr County Veterans Service Office has announced that it will be closed to walk-in visitors from Monday through Wednesday, Nov. 25-27. Most county departments will be closed for a two-day Thanksgiving break on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 28-29.
“My schedule will be taking me out of the office that week, and our other attending Assistant VSO Chase Allsup will be tied up with our local veterans who have already reserved appointments,” said Kerr County Veteran Service Officer Jenna Sanchez.
“As such, we will have to close our doors to any walk-ins for those three days. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes local residents, and appreciate everyone’s understanding of the circumstances,” Sanchez added.
The Kerr County VSO will reopen for business as usual on Monday, Dec. 2, in Suite 107, 550 Earl Garrett Street.
While walk-ins are normally welcome, those with appointments are given priority Mondays through Thursdays. The office is closed on Fridays.
