On Monday, May 29, the annual Kerr County Memorial Day Program will be hosted at the outdoor War Memorial at the Kerr County Courthouse, 700 Main Street in Kerrville. As part of that observance, all local organizations are welcome to participate in a parade of wreaths that will be laid in remembrance of our nation’s heroes.

The Kerr County Commissioners’ Court has extended an invitation to any organization to present an occasion-appropriate wreath at the memorial in honor of our military service men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we may enjoy the freedoms that we have today.

All organizations who choose to participate by laying a wreath are asked to provide a wire stand for their wreath and they must register in advance. Registration will be open just prior to the 10 a.m. ceremony on the day of the event.
