Kerr County offices closing for Independence Day

Closingforfourth

Most county offices will be closing for a one-day break on Thursday, July 4, to observe Independence Day.

This closure affects county departments located in the Kerr County Courthouse, 700 Main Street in Kerrville, in the 550 Earl Garrett Street office building in Kerrville and in the West Kerr County Courthouse Annex, 510 College Street in Ingram.

Of course, emergency services, such as law enforcement, the fire department and EMS will respond to calls without interruption.

Kerr County offices will resume normal business hours on Friday, July 5.

Our elected county leaders urge everyone to have a great and 𝑠𝑎𝑓𝑒 holiday celebrating our nation's independence.

Additionally, everyone is reminded that, although the burn ban is lifted countywide and retail sales of fireworks are permitted right now, extreme caution is needed to prevent fires.
