Drive-through Flu Shot Clinic set Sept. 17 by Kerr County

Kerr County, Texas, will host its annual communitywide drive-through flu shot clinic next week on Wednesday, Sept. 17.

This year’s event, co-hosted by HEB, will offer flu shots between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. They will be administered by HEB pharmacy personnel.

Any citizen wishing to get either the flu or COVID vaccinations (or both) is invited to the event, which will be staged at the Hill Country Youth Event Center, located at 3785 TX27 in Kerrville.

“Everyone can enjoy the convenience of this clinic by staying in their vehicles to receive their shots,” said Kerr County Emergency Management Coordinator William B. “Dub” Thomas. “It’ll be drive-thru only. Those planning to get vaccinated should bring their insurance or Medicare cards with them.”

To visit the clinic, enter in the #2 gate fronting TX27. CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) volunteers will be on site to help direct traffic.
